The point I am trying to make is this:
There is a increasing fundamental breakdown of respect given to the veteran players. There is no doubt in this claim's validity. Ask any vet, and they would agree, the advent of secured mode took this game in a different direction. It used to be that a new player needed vets to rely on for help and training and for their defense while they were getting up to speed.

This is no longer the case. I'm not against new players having some sort of shelter for protection while they learn. But to use that shelter in a means that allows them to behave like 4th graders without impunity, is wrong. The Sim 10 commandments are mere suggestions to new players that shows them the path to respectability.

As Brutus said, "I've tried". I used to kill and ask questions later. But I have been sending warning messages instead, that these actions are not respectable and offensive to the players that have been here for a long time. When I receive the middle finger as a reply, I know that person deserves any amount of Sim-Death I decide to dish out. Taking up for those types of players is only asking for the standards of behavior to be changed to "Anything Goes".

Josias, don't even attempt to tell me you wouldn't stomp the Sim-Life from some n00b that decided to grow a pair and give YOU the middle finger when you attempted to be civil. These types of people are to be dealt with swiftly, and without prejudice.
