Look, there are two issues, the glitch, and how to control your shares in a normal glitch-free environment. I was addressing the latter issue in my posts. You brought it up in the chat, after Jozi said they'd try to fix the glitch, at 18:00. You were proposing a ban on investment funds buying shares for a month after an IPO as a solution to both problems. I suggested a way around the second problem. If you don't like it, fine, but maybe other people are interested.
Wrt the max transaction, I don't know what planet you're coming from (joke) but when I am buying for my investment fund it won't let me buy more than 4% at a time. For ex, a corp with 12.8 billion shares outstanding, I place an order for 512 million, that's okay, but 512,000,001, a big orange error message says "As Investment Fund you cannot bid on more than 512,000,000 shares at the moment." I get that at 0% ownership, 4%, ..., 28%, 32%. Furthermore, I don't see any 15% max over 30% ... 40% is the max my investment funds can own. Try to buy more, big orange says "An Investment Fund is not allowed to buy shares if it than owns more than 40.00% of the shares." Sic.

Go ahead and show me where I'm wrong on this stuff, it'll save me a lot of time placing orders.
