I just looked at part of the game docs on weapons and bits of other sections, and I noticed that they are vague and show old information in several places. On the game news it was mentioned that the exchange rates from game money to gold coins was lowered to 400B $E per gold coin on all free worlds. The docs still cite the original rates.

Ammo usage for different weapons systems also show old information. SRMB fire 6 SRM per attack, not 4. At least they did last time I checked. And the game news indicates changes to the firing rates of light tanks and light artillery, but those changes are not reflected.

For the weapons systems I have empirical evidence for, the hit rates and damage percentages seem to be correct in the docs, if vague. It would be nice to see those percentages specified more precicely. E.g. DH hit SF and RDU 25-50% of the time, and do <5% damage when they do hit. It would be nice if those numbers were precisely stated, e.g. 45% hit rate and do 4.5% damage, or whatever it really is.

If updates to the game news simultaneously updated the documentation, that would fix many of the errors in the documentation. For example, values that periodically change could point to the acual values on the table of values that the simulation uses. As soon as you change a value, the pointer would see the new value and automatically be updated. I don't know technically how to do that, but I know it can be done. In the long run it would probably save alot of time rewriting docs.
