Those are some awesome market values. As long as we are touching on IPOs, is there a rule of thumb you veteran players follow for doing them? Being pretty much of a noob, I got all excited over the prospect of doing my first IPO. Had an FMU corp which broke over a trillion in market value, and had 130 billion in cash. I decided the time was right so I took it public. T is right, market value plummeted. I expected this though, as the share price when I took it public was 10,000+ per share, and the game will automatically issue two for ones when the share price breaks 100, which will bring market cap down. What I did not expect was for it to go 2 for 1 for four straight months, making it a 1.6 billion share corp, and the following month it was back in my list of private corps, having lost 400 bil of market cap, and it's cash level somehow dropped to 105 billion with NO supply buying. and it has gone nowhere since, staying around 6-700 billion. And through the course of this whole scenario it never made less than a billion per month in profit. What error did I make?
