Tom I think players, and I will admit myself included, feel that leaving a player in the Hall of Fame for a year is a little excess. Its more a punishment for achieving number one rank than a reward. One of the only bennies for such an achievement has been membership on the SC, if one can call that a bennie to begin with and that was limited to 6 months. I do believe the orginal post was surprised to see the HOF term being a year. Anyway might you all consider reducing this to the same limit as for the SC. Also a history of all that have been in the HOF would be nice too.
