Not a bad list Ron, however a moderate can see past your Bush Bashing rhetoric a mile away. It seems that is all Dems/libs can do these days as they have no ideas of themselves. And, nominated a Socialist (Barack Obama) for president. Sad.
Keep in mind oil profits are actually smaller (% wise) than most industries and the president has absolutely nothing to do with the price of gas at the pump.
Keep in mind that oil is price where its at mostly due to supply/demand.
Keep in mind it would not be 140USD a barrel right now if we were allowed to drill in our own country.
Keep in mind we would not be in this situation since liberals/environmentalist haven't let us build refineries in last 30+ years, yet China will shortly be drilling of the coast of Cuba very soon.
In addition, Bush had the guts that very few nations have to stand up to the scourge called radical Islam, which will inevitably give birth to WWIII. Bush will be remembered in a neutral to positive light many,many years from now by historians, I do believe.
Clinton, while a brilliant man, skillful politician, he can be overrated at times. Try to detach yourself from the hype that the liberal media has force fed you from birth. We experienced the internet or tech boom during his watch, so he benefited from that greatly. I urge you to actually look at figures such as ;
unemployment,interest,inflation,home ownership rates,GDP growth,exports,imports,budget deficits etc,etc, REAL ECONOMIC FIGURES from say the Almanac, not from liberal websites or publications. On average,looking at the big economic picture you will see little difference between the two.
Don't get me wrong Clinton did many other things that helped too , like lowering welfare (kinda of conservative/rep thing to do huh, maybe he was on to something)
And let's not forget, while Clinton enjoyed the tech boom, Bush had the aftermath of 9/11 to deal with. So let's keep the facts straight.
And Reagan, well if not for him, well... that's another topic for another day. I think overall your liberal bias shows but your list is not too bad. Just tone down the Dem/lib kool aid drinking and give a little more thought and fairness to the Rep/con side and you will where most of America lies.... in the middle
By the way I am not a member of either party I am an independent. I have voted for:
Bush (Sr,and W)
