Tom? I give up trying to get the shares back, but I will never give up trying to get this rectified for the future. All I ask is either an explanation as to why this takes place or your intent to stop it in the future.

I can't help but worry that as soon as I have I.P.O.'d shares, 50% gets taken right off the bat by Gamemaster Corporations. This has only happened a couple times out of the hundreds of IPO's I've done, but it has the same effect regardless....I lose half of the dividend and can not maximize the product quality and effectivity because you own too many of the shares. I am forced to sell off all the shares of those corps because they are totally useless to me now.

I could understand if it were a case where shares had been sitting unsold on the open market for some time and Gamemaster Corporations wanted to help me. But losing 50% in one foul swoop is not fair because we as players are restricted to how much percentage of shares can be transferred during each processing, but when this happened it proved to me that either:
a) Gamemaster Corporations has no rules and can do whatever it wants.
b) This was a game glitch that needs to be found and rectified.
c) I've irritated you and this is payback.

I'm rooting for "b". On a side note, this has not happened recently, so it may have been a glitch. I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt. My suggestion is to stop Gamemaster Corps from buying any shares and restrict it just auto-buying and selling shares through the investment funds of Gamemaster countries. This way if it is set to "AUTO", we have a chance to buy the shares back if they fall into your hands when the share price hits the trigger price for selling.

As you can see I really do not have a problem with GM investments in my corps, but at least keep an option open for the players to regain control of shares that they want back in order to make them fully public within the parameters so as to maximize their production and effectivity. As you know the corp can't maximize these areas when any one entity owns more than 25% of the shares. If this rule has changed, please let us know. It would be valuable information to have.
