Corp Auto-Salary Reduction has GOT to GO! (Little Upsilon)

Tom, one of the issues that we all have with auto-salary reduction is that it can occur infinitely fast. Our salaries can literally reduce from 500 to 80 in one game month, when we are at work or sleeping or something.

Yes, we can increase the salaries back, but only at 5% a game month. Which means that in the case outlined above, and given that this 5% is not compounded, it would take 84 game months to undo the automatic salary changes.

This is ALSO unrealistic. If workers IRL take an 80%+ paycut, and they are told it will take seven years before they will ever see the pay they are accustomed to, then a large chunk, if not all, of them are going to quit. Especially when the auto-cuts only affect a few corps in a large country--there would be lots of higher-paying job opportunities. (Yes, workers IRL *do* take paycuts, but very, very seldom paycuts that are as drastic as what you impose on us, Tom.)

If a corp is hit with auto-salary reductions, then the reductions should also enable salaries to be changed faster, for a set period of time. Say, if a corp is auto-reduced, it can increase salaries by 20% (like a salary booster, except it can only change once 20% in a game month) for twenty-four game months, or until the original salary is restored, whichever comes first.

There are a lot of CEOs out there who pay high salaries to insure against worker shortages, too. This, too, is realistic, and your little nanny-state changes undo them.
