It's good to see that realism is the guiding principle. It's true that no firms pay salaries way over the odds, but if their product is in demand, they certainly do pay for overtime and night-shifts. Realism would say that circa 50% over standard is fine, as it represents a 60-hour week or 20 hours overtime. To go much beyond this and run double shifts however, there needs to be available labour in the unemployment pool to work the night-shift.
