Wow. You really don't know much about manufacturing plants, do you? A few million dollars? The largest (by floor area) manufacturing plant in the world cost $200 million in 1966, which is $1.1 billion in 2003 dollars. That's not even close to the most expensive plants. Semiconductor corporations are throwing down billions for new fabs all the time. Intel actually spend $2 billion just converting an existing plant to a new process.

see your talking about semiconductor plants. these are state of the art plants with very high end technologies, obviously these types of plant are going to be expencive. when you think about the fact that in simcountry, a high technology plant cost the exact same as a farm or a coal plant, you can't say that the value of a PP is realistic. but I'll conceed the point that plants cost more than a few million (what I meant to say was few 100 million anyways). but I still would not believe that an office building or car manufacturing plant would cost more than a billion, that is just too far fetched. example:

The 4.5-acre, multilevel World Trade Center Site Memorial will cost approximately $350 million, including $175 million for infrastructure.

The total construction cost is approximately $400 million.

but now I'm defending myself on an issue that wasn't even the point. the point was, realism and simcountry are not compairable. to say that simcountry is based in reality would be an oxymoron. the other point is; I would like to think that an expencive PP would come with some kind of storage area or a warehouse.
