With some creativity, anything is possible in this world. Since this is only a game, I see little wrong with trying to use leverage against W3C to get them to shape up. There seems to be a consensus that they need to shape up. I see no players jumping in and championing W3C's recent changes.

I understand new players need to be able to join this game and survive. The W3C response has been to make new players attain invincibility at low cost. They did this both with d-fort behavior and noob protection. The move should have been to simply ingrain it in new players that they need to reach out to top-ranked players immediately to gain favor and assistance. Game-mechanics changes that make noobs as invincible as experienced players inevitably produce a game where improvement is not possible and things are very boring.

Back to the point. W3C is incompetent. Time to punish them.

I am going to attack any player that I suspect dumps money into this game. I am going to chose victims as I see fit. If the target-player, or W3C, is able to convince me that they don't pay, then I may stop attacking. Based on my understanding of acceptable behavior in this game, this is acceptable. Since I'm not requesting compensation of any form from the victim-countries, it is not extortion/threatening. I am simply stating publicly what my criteria will be for attack, which is more than I've done in the past.

I expect this behavior might reduce W3C's income.

I invite others to do the same. I take full responsibility for others following this plan, should W3C decide to retaliate by banning this behavior and threating to close accounts. I will say it now, if that happens, just take me out and not others that may copy this plan. I know they have made threats before for seemingly appropriate behavior in a war-game, and a similar response wouldn't surprise me.

I'll do this until they demonstrate competence running this game.
