what your doing john is contridicting yourself, money has no value. but you also say that money is used as a medium of exchange and a standard measurement of value. thats a contridiction in terms.
the tree outside my window has no more value than the money in my wallet. but since the money in my wallet says that the tree is valued at $100, then the money in my wallet is worth one tree. correct? money has value and that value is determined by whatever it is your trying to buy.
