I dont care how ridiculous it is in a real life situation, where it would be ridiculous.
It isn't just ridiculous in a real-life situation. It's ridiculous period. Not only must everything be for sale-- some formula determines the price. It is completely contrary to the apparent goal of this game-- to simulate an economy of sorts. Prices aren't determined by formulae-- they are determined by the seller's willingness to pay. And until this grievous oversight is fixed, I support presidents doing whatever they damn please to CEOs who abuse this "feature." They're lucky presidents don't have the constant option to perform an assassination and fully reset any enterprise at will.
