I agree with you on many points, but new players should not start with a 20m pop country IMO. the reason is the level of skill needed (and amount of money) to bring that size of a country up to fighting strength is sizeable. starting them with smaller countries would help reduce the size of armies they play with. since the vetern players will be in te council, noobs need not worry about huge army invasion. as they progress in the game and thier empires grow, they wuld move up to larger army sizes and fight with bigger players.

the idea is to keep the armies small so they don't need many months to prepair for war.

another problem would be to get the new players to fight and war. they need to understand that at a new players level, countries are mostly expendable. I'm think that TNN is running promotions for supplying new players with GCs to get them started...tamara would be the playa to talk to about TNN deals though.

if Jozi would allow gift certificates at cheaper prices, I might be able to give several new players 30gc. but at $5 each, that would be way too expencive. if I could get it down to $3 or $2 each, like when you buy bulk GCs, then I might be able to front $10-15 for that kind of project.

keep brainstorming guys and gals, this needs to happen.
