yeah, gunther, stick a cork in it. A lot of work and time went into figuring this out, and it is generous of WildEyes to have shared it.

Hmm... pay no attention. Some people react in such a way when they are not as good as something as someone else. This is a surprisingly peaceful forum all considered.

I can sympathize with Gunther. I too do not want to deal with all those interceptors, batteries and etc. If you wish to consider my feelings, please do not have these in countries I wish to attack. :)

Many thanks for your time and consideration,
M. Ney

Marshal, the 'real' Wildeyes, before she left the game, left us with a general guide on econ and war strategies. Though the game has changed since she left, most of the guide is still relevant today. (If your post was meant as sarcasm or humor, forgive my post)

She was not proposing anything to my knowledge to the GM's. If I am wrong, I'm sure someone will correct me.

Gunther's post was inappropriate and done without much thought.

@wildeyes,
thank you and much much grateful to your knowledge. wish the GM would do something like this in the documentation, instead of letting new players trial and error tactics.

wow ok guys your misunderstanding me completely I guess that what happens when you spend your time behind a computer airlifting 1000s of Sfs a day I appreciate wildeyes effort I'm complaining about the game in general I enjo the econ aspect minus the gm manipulation but the war game sucks how is sitting there managing 1000 SF units fun is my point not that there is much war in this game anyways

Gunther, I'm trying hard to understand your thought process in the most diplomatic way possible.

I can assure you that neither I, nor most of the folks that have recently posted, are sitting behind our computers airlifting 1000's of anything.

I re-read the recent post, and I did not see anything that suggested that you personally should do anything that has been written in this thread.

Jo simply bumped the post up from (the) Wildeyes that wrote the guide, not the current player, to help younger players have a template on how to be successful, both economically and at warfare.

In the context in which your post is written, I hope that you can easily see how it may have been misunderstood.

You obviously have some issues with the game and/or the GM's. Maybe you could consider emailing your concerns directly to the GM's as a way to vent your frustrations and further your quest for resolution.

Gunter, Simcountry, like most games, evolve over time, but the basic guidelines still exist. Thus the original WildEyes' leaving guide here, as Christopher Michael stated above, is a template, not exact numbers to follow, as such, as the game has changed. It gives you an inkling as to how to build your country and how to eventually incorporate military, if you wish to pursue the war game. Before being critical, learn the game and ask pertinent questions from the experienced, long-time players. They are interested in helping newer players understand the game.
