If I start a new discussion, it means that we are in shit up to our ears.
Give them a break.

w3creative is a tiny company that was setup for the sole purpose of developing this game.
Their developers are spending most of their time doing consulting jobs and bespoke work to earn enough for the company to pay their salaries and run the game.

We are creative in finding ways not to pay them. One suggests to do transactions between players so that god forbid, these guys will see any of this money and others brag that they are full members and did not pay a cent since 2010.
They use some gold coins earned in enterprises that "Should make a Trillion six times a day".
Yet another says that it is their responsibility to keep a sufficient number of gold coins in circulation. (what is that?)
Not one player suggested that we just purchase these gold coins.

In the mean time we are all voting for great new features and post proposals on the forum while we do not allow the developers to spend their time making these features.
We are angry too, and hate them for not developing these features.

A very fine community indeed.

I agree. If I was Andy I would have said somethings I might have regretted by now with all the mud he has had to wade through. You done good Andy ;)

But once you make a game an investment it no longer becomes a game.

I'm getting sick of the tireless hate. Sure, when an update is put online, complain. But please, please shut up after that. We don't need 9 threads made over 1 subject. Adjust to the change, move on, and brace for the next update.

We appreciate SimCountry, sometimes to the point that we will yell and scream at the first sign that the game might be on the decline, but that does not mean we should create a negative environment very much like what has been created on the this forum. For all we know, the culture on these threads is a bigger reason for vets and newbies leaving the game than the actual game updates. The illusion that everything has gone to shit when in fact the repercussions are far less than what is depicted has a massive impact on the general feeling of players towards the game.

I welcome any measures made by any players to promote a positive environment within the player community.

Cheer up, stop being so negative, and always look on the bright side of life.

(p.s. delete the simcountry.com at the start of the link I posted above- it's a youtube clip. Enjoy :) )

Romeo, you're the biggest suck up I've ever seen on this forum.

Tom, you're right. One or two threads should cover a topic not 9. But we have not created a negative environment. If you believe these threads cause vets to leave then I'm shocked. Perhaps you have fallen and hit your head. Seriously, did you actually say that?

Vets leave because the game is not fun for them anymore or they simply outgrow it. Recently, the game has been made very unfun through all the changes and not this forum. Those who have stayed will now come out the other side and start enjoying it again.

So surf's Up. Time to start having fun again. : D

Did anyone ask themselves where this Romeo character came from.................????

I did....and got my answer.

Careful of 'wolves in sheep's clothing'.

Figure it out.
