Hi all. Im going to keep this brief for now.
But I played quite sometime ago as "Doublestar" in Fearless Blue, and once created a "Simcountry World News" website, though it was quite mediocre. Now, with my skills increased, a new full-featured website is soon to be launched (a far better version of SCWNews).
*note: the stories currently seen in the previews are just placeholders, and may not actually appear when the site is launched online.

Before the launch, I will begin creating the first stories to appear on the site, from each game world. As well as will seek out players who would like to be reporters in each world (though right now im still working on the details). That said, if you recieve inquiries from "SCWNews" (CEO) know that it is for this purpose.
Previously, I was a warlord, however, the only way this site can work is if I am not bias. Therefore I will not actively participate in conflicts, negotiations etc as my own entity, but as Simcountry World News, if that makes sense. In the future, I may take up countries, and but the rules for myself will not change for the sake of SCWNews.
I hope this site will be awesome, and that everyone enjoys it.
The site will operate as CNN does in the real world, covering almost anything. As the site continues to grow, more sections will be added as needed. It will hopefully make playing simcountry a little more fun.

Dubletar, good to see you again!
You might remember me from when I was Lord Toranaga, back in the day. You taught me a lot of stuff. Those were good times and fierce battles.
It's great that you're bring back the newspaper.

Simcountry World News is now open to the public
Be Mindful that it is still being worked on.
BETA 1.0 Version Active
The website address is easy to remember:
So, uhh..What is SCWNews?
Simcountry World News is a fansite to the online-based game Simcountry.com. It is designed to be a News Network on a global scale, that functions in the game as CNN and BBC function in the real world. SCWNews is privately owned and operated by longtime players of simcountry, and all its content is generated from players themselves.
Why does SCWNews exist?
Coverage and Information
Simcountry World News exists to provide full coverage of world events in the game Simcountry.com. Simcountry is a game that allows players to control countries in digital worlds, a simulation of the real world. It also allows them to function as heads of conglomerate entities called Enterprises. As such, they interact with each other every single day, with every action they do. Even if a player had no contact with any other player, their actions of buying/selling items still have an effect on the world market, thus effecting every player in the world....just like the real world. SCWNews covers the actions of the players in the world, as well as the effects and causes of such actions. This is done so that all players interested can remain informed of the events of their world, just as presidents and leaders in the real world can see what is happening on Earth.
We consider it a public service. Instead of a new player coming into the world having no idea of who they share the world with, what events have occured, having no sense of history, and in pure ignorance of the nations on the other side of the globe, they can use SCWN as a source of information. They can see the relationship between nations and conglomerates and thier respective histories, if it has been in the news.
World Stage..the Spotlight
In the real world, one of the many reasons news networks thrive in the international arena, is not just information alone, but because they provide a platform for leaders to speak to the masses. Simcountry World News does the same for players in Simcountry. In essence, we provide a world stage. Dictators who desire attention, can now get the same type of attention given to dictators in the real world. Powerful nations who desire fear and trembling at their might (whether peaceful or not) can get it. Ideas that one desires to broadcast, can now be broadcast instead of sending countless in-game messages to many players. Leaders of nations who desire to increase or show off the influence of their common markets, federations, etc, can broadcast this to the whole world and beyond.
SCWNews also provides a spotlight for the little guy. The player who does not have nor desire the internal hunger of power and wealth, a player who is content with what he has and what he is building, he can share his progress with the world, and the world will listen. What is happening in the village of Niova in the smallest state in the world can still be news! The things players desire to share that no one listens to will now have an ear, and many will listen.
Entertainment! Its Fun!
The number one reason fansites exist is because we have fun! Players collaberating with players for entertainment! As a president in Simcountry, its alot of fun to see the actions of your nation in the news, in live news! Its fun to be apart of history.
