Strategic weapons
Strategic weapons like offensive weapons are used for attacks on an enemy in war. All of the strategic weapons are nuclear (one is chemical). If not interrupted by nuclear missile interceptors or destroyed before the operation, strategic weapons will in most cases destroy their target big or small.
Using strategic weapons means that the war is escalated. Countries with nuclear weapons are considered aggressive and are tagged as nuclear powers on the world list of presidents.
Strategic weapons are only effective against a small number of targets, mainly military bases and airports and large cities.
When a nuclear weapon is fired, it can be intercepted by a nuclear missile interceptor. If such a defense weapon is not available, the nuclear (chemical) weapon will destroy its target. No other weapons can intercept a nuclear (or chemical) weapon.
