Defensive weapons
Defensive weapons are used for defense only. There is no way to use them in any attack. Defensive weapons are always used in response to an attack. Weapons can be stationed at any location and will be used for the defense of that location. If weapons are located at a city, they will defend that city. The same goes for military bases, fortifications etc.
Not all defensive weapons are effective against all offensive or strategic weapons and they will only participate in the defense if they can be effective against some of the attacking weapons.
Example: Anti aircraft missile batteries will participate in the defense if attack helicopters are used but will not participate if the attacker uses only heavy tanks.
