Military Units - Keeping a Log of Operations
Military units now log their operations. The log is cleaned after 7 days.
Unit Movements
Normal 'battle' units like Battalions, Divisions and Brigades, log when they start moving to a new position. More importantly, they log when they stopped moving. A unit stops moving for one of the following reasons:
- It arrived at the requested position
- It stopped at the border of a country because the president
did not give permission to enter the country. A unit does not need
permission when:
- the country is part of the same empire,
- the country is part of the same federation
- there is a war declaration with the country
- It stopped inside a foreign country because it was blocked by
an armed military unit or target. The defense of the blocking
target must be destroyed before the unit can move on.
Supply Units move automatically when they 'discover' another unit needs to be replenished. Supply Units movements are only logged when they deliver weapons and ammunition. To reduce the size of the log they do not write to the log when they only deliver Gasoline and Military Services.
The army unit log shows all movements and events occurring in army units during war only.
