Detailed Description:
Fallout already exists in simcountry to a limited extent- a 'blowback' used as a slight deterrent. It affects countries around the blast and condemns the survivors of a major nuclear attack to a slow, painful death to radiation poisoning. In real life, this is true, but in sufficient quantity, nuclear weapons should also cause global and more in-depth reprecussions. My suggestion is threefold; I think we should implement a system which: a) allows fallout to spread slowly across the world after a large amount of nuclear weapons are detonated b) decreases the birth rate and increases the death rate for several decades in countries within the path of the radiation c) destoys Y% of food and agricultural production globally due to radiation ruining the crop/school/herd. W3Creative reaction:
Yes we can implement this but it will spread misery in large area and will hit innocent players who are investing in the buildup of their countries. We do believe in natural disasters and some nuclear fallout but we should be careful not to allow such events destroy what people who are not involved in these wars are trying to develop.
