Detailed Description:
I think it would be interesting to allow players the ability to view various loan options and apply for specific loans. On the other end of this allow players to offer loans, with varying amounts, terms and interest rates. Then allow them to review player applicants for the loans. Generally just flushing out the concept of banking and allowing players to build an income off loans by accessing risk of defaults etc. This could be further enhanced if we allowed direct loan offers between Countries and Enterprises.

Only one vote. It is not very popular. We do have loans in Simcountry. You can offer and request loans but most of it is automatic. If your country has a negative cash, it will automatically request a loan and get it, if it did not reach the maximum amount allowed.
We did not go very far with the loans option because it gets very complicated. Simcountry is too complex for many players as it is and many are requesting us to make it easier. We resist request to trivialize many of the functions but on the other hand, we do not think that at this point, we should make it more complex.
