Detailed Description:
It would be interesting if there was an option to set a state religion. It wouldn't have to have an effect on the game, except possibly the religion/philosophy you choose may allow you to be more secure, open to war, etc. When you conquer another's country, they would convert to your religion/philosophy.
It would be like the types of government option and the ruler's title option: no practical purpose, but an added shade of realism.

There were previous requests for religions. There could be more in a single country and they may have some other effects. This may be a future addition to the game. Currently, there are just too many waiting.
