Share portfolio target.
The portfolio target isn't working properly please explain how this portfolio target works. I would want my share target to be 100% but the target always stop near it, when I want 50 then I want 50 not 49.89 or 49.99, this would help to repurchase the corporations to become private. Since the portfolio only works on own share, I would suggest that only own controlled corporations share would show up in the portfolio

When you set a target, automatic share orders are issued to repurchase outstanding shares and reach the target you have set. However, the owners of the shares may not be interested in selling and you cannot force them. Most of the shares in general, are in the hands of investment funds and these are trading automatically and are driven by profit targets.
If the share price goes up, and they can make a decent profit, they will sell. If the bought for a much higher price, they will not sell that quickly. Share owners who are active players, may decide to sell or they may decide to keep the shares. There is no way to force them.
This is why when you set a target, it is not sure that you will be able to reach it.
