Should countries have a set amount of natural resources, this would mainly effecting "mining" related industries. May be a countries climate could effect they types of yields and quality of agriculture related products. This would produce wars over natural resources as they begin to diminish, you could possibly have the option to replenish depleted resources with gold coins.
