Making our companies work better. Status: Please read our response  

Detailed Description:

I propose being able to
1. Set our Hiring and Production to our desired percentage at our start-up of new companies. (ie. 25% Hiring and 25% Production from Day 1. My country may only need that much, and I could build 4 companies at 25% each and make my country more self-sufficient faster, with the same number of people that are currently tied up in one company.
2. Make changes in salaries take place right away, without any gradual cut-back or build-up. That is how companies work in the real world.
3. When Lowering hiring and production levels, have them cut back immediately, without any gradual lay-offs.
4. Please don't close my companies at your whim. I may prefer my people working at 150% percent, rather than sitting around doing nothing at 80%. That way I can get more goods and employ more people at the same time.(All unemployed people are a total drain on my economy.) An advisory message could be a nice thing, though, especially for newer players. It could be triggered automatically, too.
A 'Yes' vote means that we can get our companies to be more profitable faster, and we can change with market conditions faster, too.
A 'No' vote means that you like having others run your companies, and thus your country, in ways that are wasteful. (Imagine starting a country where the pay scale is at 250%, which means that it will take 20 months to get it down at 5% each month to around 150% pay, that's what the system is like right now.)

No strong support. There are several problems here.
Real companies don't change salaries down or up by 50% in a month. Down nearly never happens and if, then only by a small percentage. Nobody doubles salaries in one month. 5% per month for one year is already unrealistically fast. New countries have reasonable levels. When you want to purchase or conquer one, look into the details ahead of time.

The same applies to hiring and firing. You don't fire 150.000 people in one month. Nor do you hire this kind of numbers.
Corporations should run at 100% production or otherwise they will be broke. Fixed costs in corporations will make them unprofitable if they run at 25%. In the real world, corporations try to produce at 100% and the average plan utilization percentage is a major economic indicator. {text] Like in the real world, corporations with very high debt and corporations with negative assets and high debt will bankrupt. You can easily keep them out of danger by pumping money into them and they will never bankrupt. This is easily done, with one click for all corporations at once. Bankruptcy is the only reason for closure by the game process.

There are many improvements underway for the corporation game. We will add marketing, corporate R&D, temporary and management services that will allow you to increase production or keep it at a high level even if workers are not available, by purchasing temporary work services.

Some corporations will be allowed to grow their production capacity to a multiply of their current levels.

The profitability of corporations is being improved. New corporations will be more profitable and profitability will remain more stable throughout the development process of the corporations.
