Cost of Government Status: Please read our response

Detailed Description:

This poll is a little long, sorry about that. My country has a decent income from corporation taxes, taxes from citizens, etc., except my country is still suffering losses. This is because of the huge amounts that my country is charged for the Cost of Government. While most costs are just $2-5 Billion/Month, the health costs are $11B/M (understandable, since health is expensive), but the Cost of Government is a whopping $10B/M, which is way too expensive. It says that this cost exists because: a.)It is the cost of local government and police; b.) It depends on the size of the economy and the population; c.)Rich countries have more money to spend on government; and d.) Peaceful countries have more money to spend on it because they dont have to pay for defense. My response is: a.) Government and police arent supposed to be a 1/3rd of a country's costs; b.) My economy and population arent that big; c.) IM NOT RICH IF IM MAKING LOSSES!!!!!; and d.) IM PAYING $3B/M FOR DEFENCE AND IM ON THE WAR WORLD!!!!. So, Government Costs are way too expensive and should be drastically reduced. Vote Yes if you agree or vote No if you are OK with being charged obscene amounts of money for something put in the game to reduce profits for little reason.

W3Creative reaction:

Income and cost in Simcountry are well balanced. If you play reasonable, your country will be profitable and we see a very large number of profitable economies.

An arbitrary reduction of cost does not make sense. It will be followed by an arbitrary increase in spending.

There will always be some overspending countries, purchasing a lot of weapons and not doing enough to build a working economy. Reducing cost will not help such countries.
