Citizen/Troop Morale System Status: Good ideas

Detailed Description:

Citizen Morale: this is simply how happy your civilians are with their current ruleing government. Morale will be displayed in the statistics bar on country home pages. It will work the same way as Profit/Loss per month, things that make the population unhappy will be a negative affect to your monthly morale result, like health care is a negative affect on your financial result. things that make them happy will add a positive affect. If morale hits a given number (we will say 30 for my explanation) a rebellion will occour. A feature could be that players can innact martial law (soldiers will patrol the streets) this will use up a certain number of weapons per city/town/county, these will be unable to perform other tasks. Martial law will keep rebellions from happening until morale hits 0, instead of 30, but adds another negative affect to morale. Troop Morale: this is simple, if many troops are dead or wounded, and you have made little progress in your war, troop morale will decrease, and when it gets too low, some soldiers may desert the military, leaving some weapons unmanned. this will not be displayed on the statistic bar, but should be an entry in the country newspaper.

We think that this may be interesting to add. It is not clear how exactly but it will be discussed here in the future.
