Detailed Description:

Simcountry is a business run by W3Creative, which relies on the users (Members) For it's income. However, due to recent changes made it has become harder for these members to make money and enjoy the game (Financial Services, Loan Market disruption, Government costs in empires). Should it not make sense for W3Creative to try and appease these members and ensure that becoming a paying member is worth it? As any person who is willing to join the game as a member is most likely intelligent enough to see that many advantages are being reduced, thus this policy is actually taking custom away from Simcountry. Having joined SC around 2 months ago, there were none of these policies in action, meaning larger players could expand as they wished. However this did not infringe upon me as a new player, it in fact aided me in expanding and becoming an empire myself. One of the reasons i became a member instead of staying as a 'guest' was the fact i could see it's many advantages, military and financial. Thus i reach my proposal, as radical as it may seem. The security council on each world is made up of mainly experienced players, those which are being penalised by the system, yet also make up most of the income for W3c. They could be turned into an advisory body to W3c, ratifying or declining any changes they propose to make. This would work well in accordance with John R's proposal of elected members to the council. Meaning an elected assembly of players exert at least some control over the changes made by W3C, and can help create a game which can both encourage new paying members, yet not penalise them at the same time. The exclusive voting feature has some of these advantages, yet leaves no room for debate or any way of stopping w3c from making changes which essentially effect us paying members the most. I shall post this in the 'General' section of the forum, meaning any votes this receives for or against can be used in conjuction with comments from other players, to create a truly representative vision on the opinion of SC players.

W3Creative reaction:

W3creative keeps developing the game for a long time and we see the numbers of players who are contributing to the game increasing constantly.
Experienced players are as welcome as anyone else to keep playing long term and many do. Some of these players are very successful and can even withdraw some of they winning and many do.
Simcountry does not limit anyone from growing their assets but the game should remain a challenge. There were always some requests the meant the trivializing of the game and turning it into a simple mechanism to make money. This of course, will not happen.

Simcountry will keep evolving and we will make sure it remains a challenge for both new and experienced players.
