The Defense index
The defense index is an average of the defensive index (counted twice), the offensive index and the strategic index. The sum is then divided by four.
The defense index is a measure for the size of the army in the country and the number of weapons it has. It is not a very good measure for its military power in general as the country can have many weapons of one type and lack ammunition and the index may continue to be at a high level.
