| Green mountain clan corp | Tuesday, March 02, 2004 - 05:25 am Did I miss an update notice? ceo -owned corporations can now be attacked by rebels. When did this change? |
| Nimzovich | Tuesday, March 02, 2004 - 07:22 am Feb 10 game news talks about it. |
| Nimzovich | Tuesday, March 02, 2004 - 07:30 am 2. Rebellions and civil unrest Main features and changes: The chance of a rebellion is higher if there are more than 5 conquered countries. Rebellions can damage both state and private corporations Civil unrest is introduced and it will occur if countries are very rich but keep health, education, transportation and social security low or if countries are poor but increase education or health etc. to very high levels to gain score points. |
| Entrepreneur Enterprises | Tuesday, March 02, 2004 - 09:47 am Hmmm, so ......... Your damned if you do .... and .... damned if you don't. Quite a quagmire, don't you say ????? |
| Alpha Industries | Tuesday, March 02, 2004 - 04:46 pm Where have you been for the last 3 weeks?????? Haven`t you noticed the hell some of us have been through this last 3 weeks??????? From my 4 CEOs I have lost nearly 150 corps because of civil unrest/rebels. I made the mistake of building in countries like Cymru/Pawnking/Prefab because of the friendly presidents, but those huge empires really got hammered by these attacks, Cymru had to dump nearly 20 of his countries rather than have to manage putting them right. Even one of my peaceful countries has had civil unrest because the people were`nt happy with the education. |
| Entrepreneur Enterprises | Wednesday, March 03, 2004 - 04:11 am Where have I been???? Right here, moving my Corps from those "rebel" prone Countries ;-) Since the change, it requires a bit more scrutiny.... The "quagmire" was acknowledging the analysis of Nimzovich ;-) So far, I've lost only about a half dozen. Good luck in your game Alfa. :-) |
| Green mountain clan corp | Wednesday, March 03, 2004 - 06:27 am I guess I never noticed them. I didn't lose any more corps than before, prob because most are in c3s. |
| Nimzovich | Wednesday, March 03, 2004 - 11:12 pm What analysis? I just copy and pasted from the news and put the relavent portion in bold type. |
| Entrepreneur Enterprises | Thursday, March 04, 2004 - 03:32 am Yup, great job too :-) Keep up the good work as the SimRoving Reporter. :-) |
